Hi there!

If your life feels like a hot mess or you just can’t get a handle on your mental health and emotions, you do not have to face it alone. Feeling defeated and overwhelmed can be so isolating, and I know from personal experience how dark life feels when battling these circumstances. Your brain may be telling you that you are being “too dramatic” or that you need to “suck it up because other people have it worse,” but you deserve to experience joy and peace as much as anyone. You are not broken (even if you feel like your life is in a million pieces) and it is a sign of strength to ask for help when you need it.

My style of therapy is a laid back, personal approach to healing and self discovery. I want to know your story and situation as best as I can and in turn help you with the tools you need to grow and heal. Whether it is through talk therapy or EMDR, my goal is to get you out of survival mode and into a life full of peace and hope.

It is essential to me that each person who enters my office feels seen, heard, and valued. When life feels like it is going a million miles an hour, it gets easy to feel lost or unimportant, but your life and your health matters. If you are ready to remember what life feels like when your head is above water, I would love to help you get there!

Rachel's Practice

Rachel is EMDRIA-approved and trained in EMDR, a therapy approach that can help with many concerns, including PTSD, anxiety, OCD, and more. EMDR is also a great option for people who feel stuck in unhelpful beliefs, intense emotions, or difficult body sensations connected to past experiences.

Rachel works with clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, or the lingering effects of trauma and stressful life events. She starts by getting to know you—your goals, your history, and what you’d like to change or improve. From there, she partners with you to create a treatment plan that fits your needs and helps you move forward in a way that feels safe and supportive.

I offer in person and telehealth sessions Monday through Thursday in Lubbock, Texas. Typically, I start by scheduling clients weekly or bi-weekly.
